"We like to frolic in the whimsical lands of Glaggleland!"- Glaggor

“The only reason this shouldn’t be deleted is the sheer dedication it must have taken to list that many crimes.” - BallbusterOIA
Gembos /g’ɛmbə͡ʊ/ are a type of Glaggle who traditionally inhabit southern Glaggleland and Gemboland; however, today they are a minority in all of Glaggleland. Gembos are notable for being generally friendly but defensive if threatened. Gembos are also known for being excellent at taking care of animals, and Gemboland is a wildlife-based park. Due to the Gembos strong and militaristic side, they have the highest enlistment percentage among the Glaggleland Army by type of Glaggle, with about 20% of Gembos joining, making up 5% of the total army. The Gemboland army is also large, and in Gemboland they also have about 20% join rates.
Appearance[]
The appearance of a Gembo is quite unique. It is usually a coral color and has a straight mouth with curved corners. The eyes are large and oval-like in shape. Gembos have many different color variations which will be mentioned down below. Does not include Glumbga Gembos.
Here is a list of the skin color variations:
84% - Normal
16% - Cherry
0.1% - Melanistic
0.01% - Albinistic
History[]
The Gembos historically inhabited Gemboland; back then, only a small group of Glaggles were joyous, the Gigglers. Gembos existed in small tribes for around 1000 years before they would be united under the Gembo Empire by Glenbius the Great. Then Gemboland would be invaded by the Glaggle Empire, become joyous, and be incorporated into the Glaggle Empire. The region of Gemboland would become in the Glaggle Empire due to insulating Glaabers but this would end after the Glaabers would declare independence in a revolt. In the 1700’s, many Gembos would settle along the Glumbga river and become Glumbga Gembos when the Glaggle Empire collapsed, many Gembos wanted independence, so they gained independence from Glaggleland. 7,000 would die during the Glaggleland Massacre.
Subspecies/Variants[]
Glumbga Gembos[]
Glumbga Gembos (Jucundus Frontezei Fluminis) are a common Gembo subspecies that evolved from Gembos who inhabit the Glumbga River in Glooberland in the 18th and 19th centuries. They are a darker, more brownish color than an average Gembo, and well as slightly smaller. They also have wave-like lines on their side, along with a more red center. Glumbga are similar to common Gembos in terms of behavior, however have developed some traits similar to Gloobers over time, as well, such as being playful, and being creative when it comes to solving problems or making things. Glumbga Gembos are less advanced than average Gembos, often making their own tools and houses, and hunting for their food but aren’t exactly tribal. Glumbga Gembos are also decent swimmers, being able to easily navigate the Glumbga River underwater, hunting for fish.
Stone Gembos[]
Stone Gembos (Jucundus Frontezei Petra) are an uncommon Gembo subspecies that you can find. They share many features with Stone Gazos, being glaggles made of rocks, and having strange appearances. Stone Gembos appear as misshapen Gembos, with duller, stone-like skin. They often have uneven, thin oval eyes, and a big, uneven, curved mouth. Stone Gembos are very friendly, however often trying to befriend whoever they see! Stone Gembos are also quite dumb, have low IQs. Stone Gembos often inhabit Gazoland and Gemboland, and are typically friends Stone Gazos, and Kramblalbs. Stone Gembos have an interesting diet, consisting of rocks and soil, however they tend to not eat as much as Stone Gazos. Stone Gembos, just like Stone Gazos, can live up to 500 years, due to their rocky skin preserving them!
Cherry Gembos[]
Cherry Gembos (Jucundus Frontezei Pax) are a common subspecies of the Gembo species, often inhabiting areas such as Glaggleland, Gemboland, and Glooberland! Unlike their coral-colored cousins, Cherry Gembos are known to be joyous and cheerful, often indulging in fun and games, much like a Giggler! Their diet is similar to that of Gigglers, consisting mainly of Thorn Glognuts and other sugary treats. Unlike classic Gembos, Cherry Gembos are heavily against violence and fighting, often protesting against wars or breaking up fights between people. They are easily identifiable by their shiny, bright cherry-colored skin, which makes them stand out from the common Gembos. They are also slightly smaller than the average glaggle, being 0.9x the size of typical Gembos. Cherry Gembos, due to their much more joyous personality, has higher levels of Vitamin J than a normal Gembo, meaning they have a sad-glag variant. This makes them the only Gembo subspecies to have one! Strangely, Cherry Gembos are highly reflective when pout under light, making them look like a glowing red ball!
Cherribles[]
Cherribles are the sad version of Cherry Gembos. They are slightly similar to their joyous counterparts as in being shiny, however they are a blue color, rather than the vibrant red, and lack the blush. Cherribles, unlike Cherry Gembos, Cherribles are reclusive, shy, and introverted, often seeming as if they don’t want to talk to others glaggles, or play fun games. Despite this, Cherribles actually do want to participate in fun activities, however are too shy and get embarrassed when asking if they could join. Cherribles, unlike other sad-glags, want to become regular Cherry Gembos, however find it difficult to, due to their mindset. Cherribles, if they have one, will often spend most of their time near a friend, quietly following and hanging out with them! Cherribles are very easy to convert back into Cherry Gembos, as all you have to do is encourage them to have fun with others, or invite them to have fun! Because of this, Cherribles are quite rare, and most Cherribles are never born as one, almost always being an ex-Cherry Gembo!
Gunpowder Gembos[]
Gunpowder Gembos (Jucundus Frontezei Sulphur), also informally referred to as Gembooms in parts of Gemboland, are a subspecies of Gembos, which inhabit industrial areas such as abandoned factories within Gemboland and Gazoland. They are identifiable from their black, reflective skin, and white facial features. Gunpowder Gembos often have shorter, oval eyes, rather than the longer ovals as a typical Gembo, as well as a pointy mouth, with zig-zag-like mouth-ends. interestingly, Gunpowder Gembos have one, large, bright eye, and glows white. This allows them to see in the dark, as well as locate each other easily while on missions. Gunpowder Gembos, especially ones that inhabit Gemboland, wear a fuse-like accessory on their heads to give them a more threatening, bomb appearance! In terms of behavior, Gunpowder Gembos are rather unhinged, and aggressive in provoked. They are known to lash out to the smallest inconveniences, leaving them to often mingle amongst themselves. Gunpowder Gembos are also very innovative and intelligent, however they often use their creativity to make weapons, such as explosives. On occasions, Gunpowder Gembos will create plans for attacks, often against whoever they have a problem with, mostly Enphosians. They will leave their factory homes, and sneak around to where they want to destroy, and plant their bombs, which they will detonate remotely! Often, these attacks are very devastating, due to the power of the explosives used. This often leads to the Gemboland military attempting to control the Gunpowder Gembos, and hopefully form an alliance with them to create stronger weapons!

Trivia[]
- Gembos may possibly be the closest descendent to paleoglags, due to similar behaviour and a similar, squishy texture.
- Some Gembos are a bright red instead of coral, this is a common mutation
- Gembos seem to have more genetic variation for coloration than any other Glaggle Species.
- Gembos scientific name means “joyful takes care”, because the genus where Gembos comes from means joyful in Latin, and that gembos take care of animals.
- Studies have shown Glumbga Gembos are better at breathing underwater then other Gembos, but not as good as Gloobers
- Glumbga Gembos make up 6% of Glooberland’s Population, and 65% of the lands adjacent to the Glumbga River.
- Stone Gembos can be only seen in underground caves and (rarely) green hills outside at night.
- Gembos do not have a sad variant. This is because they do not have a lot of Vitamin J to begin with. The same thing goes with Gazos.
- Cherry Gembos are the only exception to this.
- The name “Cherrible” is a combination of the words “terrible” and “cherry”!
- Gembos and Gazos are closely related, both being species evolving from the Flungle.
- A group of Gembos is a Menagerie.
CoolGuy The Gembo[]
Description[]
A painting of Coolguy by a rather talented Cheerer!
CoolGuy is a historical figure that lived from 1189 to 1276, he is the first example of CoolNocks being visible in a Glaggle, documents report he was incredibly chill and nice.
History[]
In 1189, he was born as an average Gembo, soon when he was 10 (in 1199) he started having a tiny glow. Soon, doctors documented this as harmless, but it would become noticeable. He lived a happy and chill life and died at the old age of 87.
