| — A Giggler! |
Gigglers /ˈgɪglə/ are a silly, benevolent, friendly, and happy species of Glaggle from the genus Jucundus. They have a yellow skin color, large oval eyes and a medium-sized curvy mouth with serifs. Gigglers form as a base for a good chunk of existing Glaggles.
Gigglers are omnivores, but they have an insatiable hunger for the seemingly unhealthy foods in Glaggleland; their body cannot intake fats and other unhealthy things in food. Instead, the body converts it into proteins and nutrients to boost the Giggler more. Gigglers are known for their will to aid other Glaggles and sometimes plants; although they try, they are not very good at caring for animals.
Gigglers can be most commonly found in Glaggleland and Tunglornius, along with a few minor populations in Gazoland, Gemboland, and Glooberland, though the Glooberland and Gemboland populations are steadily increasing. You can find Gigglers selling their products to other Gigglers and, occasionally, other species; products include pillows, pins and dishware.
Gigglers can turn into Sobbers when they fully lose access to joy and fun as a whole, and most Gigglers who survived the massacre turned into them. A long-lasting inaccuracy about Gigglers is that they are locked in a state of constant joy, with the exception of the Glaggleland Massacre. This is disproven due to the fact that Gigglers can feel other emotions.

History[]
Early history[]
Gigglers evolved from paleoglags, after the vast majority got wiped out from the Enphurricane. The few remaining Paleoglags that survived evolved over thousands of years. The earliest giggler fossils were discovered in northern Glooberland, where a lineage of paleoglags evolved into what are today modern gazos, gloobers, and gigglers.
Gigglers spread from northern Glooberland into Tunglornius by land and southeastern Glagus by boat, whereas the Gazos crossed the Gnosedendy Strait to eastern Glagus, as found with gazo fossils and artifacts in the Iodspol Islands and Zlorbia.

Gergros[]

Gergros (Jucundus Proscharos Fantasia) are an interesting subspecies of Gigglers. They look quite different from the average Giggler, being a cyan color instead of the common yellow or amber, and having different mouths and eyes. Gergros are also about 0.9x the size of average Glaggles. They behave quite differently, too! Gergros are much calmer and more intelligent. They enjoy creating fantasy worlds and playing skill-based and strategy games. Gergros are friendly to just about anyone, love making friends, and often invite others to join their games! Many claim that playing games with Gergros is a fun way to pass the time! Gergros are very patient and avoid combat. However, they are also incredibly skilled fighters and shouldn’t be messed with. When a Gergro becomes aggressive, they are known to attack in unique, unpredictable ways, making it really hard to fight back.
Gimbros[]

Gimbros (Jucundus Proscharos Tardus) are a common Giggler subspecies that typically inhabit areas such as Glaggleland, Gemboland, and some less developed regions of Glagworld. They are similar to Gigglers; however, they have a more vibrant yellow color, circular eyes, and cone-shaped mouth ends. Gimbros are not very fast, moving slowly and rarely ever running. Even when in danger, they typically don’t react much, often sitting idly and watching. They are often compared to Gleegi due to their similar reaction to danger—simply ignoring it or not being bothered by it. Despite this, Gimbros aren’t as rude. Although they rarely speak unless spoken to, Gimbros often have relaxed, deep voices, which adds to their chill, unbothered personality. They have also proven to be quite unintelligent, though they don’t seem to mind! This subspecies can turn into it's own sad variant; Glumbros.
Glogs[]

Glogs (Jucundus Proscharos Amoabilis) are a common Giggler subspecies, most commonly found inhabiting Glaggleland, though they can also be seen in Glooberland and even Glaaberland! They appear quite different from an average Giggler, having a much brighter yellow color, smaller and more widely spaced eyes, and a differently shaped mouth with no corners. Because of their appearance, they are often mistaken for Gleegi or Risios! Glogs are known for being very joyous, cheerful, and supportive—often described as being similar to Cheerers. They love meeting new people and making friends with almost everyone they see. Glogs are also highly intelligent, able to solve problems easily and quickly identifying an Enfosi or Mimic in disguise. Additionally, Glogs are quite speedy, being notably faster than the average Giggler. Their name comes from Thorn Glognuts, as they coincidentally resemble these treats. This subspecies can turn into it's own sad variant; Slobs.
Lemonade Gigglers[]

Lemonade Gigglers (Jucundus Proscharos Insula) are a common subspecies of Gigglers, typically inhabiting the Qwerty Islands and Glaggleland. They appear similar to regular Gigglers, with a few distinct variations. Lemonade Gigglers are a solid yellow color rather than having a gradient, and their hue is more yellow than amber. They also have shorter eyes and less bonded mouths, with triangular mouth-ends. Lemonade Gigglers are very joyous and energetic, even more so than regular Gigglers! They are often childish and unintelligent, and they absolutely love sugar, consuming up to 10,000 grams of it each day! There exists a variation of Lemonade Gigglers that results from a recessive allele, called Citrusade Gigglers, which are a light pink color. Aside from some negligible anatomical differences, they are the same as Lemonade Gigglers. This subspecies can turn into it's own sad variant; Blueberryade Sobbers.
Glappols[]

Glappols (Jucundus Proscharos Luceat) are a common subspecies of Gigglers, and based on research, they seem to have been around for as long as the classic Gigglers. They appear as desaturated yellow Glaggles, with similarly shaped eyes and a smile with curved mouth-ends. Glappols also have a noticeable shine. This, combined with their curved smile, has led many to mistakenly accuse Glappols of being Enfosi, which has sadly led to the deaths of many innocent Glappols. Glappols also have poor eyesight, being nearly blind, and often rely on their sense of touch to navigate. Just like normal Gigglers, they are just as joyous and silly, though they are easily frightened. This subspecies can turn into it's very own sad variant; Sappols.
